Spencer’s 5th birthday was Wednesday and he got a new puppy! When the party people weren’t petting him, Farley was asleep on the floor or on Doyle’s lap. Spencer came up with Farley’s name (we don’t know where he heard it). He was at a local shelter, and he’s so sweet that it makes us all want to go get a dog! Happy Birthday Spencer!

“The dog who meets with a good master is the happier of the two.”
What a very true saying that this is.
My spirit was filled with gladness after the Rangeline Concert in Ohio. Thank you for the blessing! Your new release is GREAT!

hellodoiel hope every thing is well with you or you ever comen to greenwood.in we love you all
God respects us and He gave us the possibility to decide. Each of us chose the way we see things and the world around us. It’s vital what we feed ourselves on what we see, hear and meditate on. We need to feed ourselves on God’s word, because in this way our eyes will be enlightened to what we have in Christ Jesus.

I’m looking for the soundtrack for your album, “Thank God”
Is there one available for sale? Your music is truly a
blessing.
None of the songs on that cd are available in track form. So sorry!
I have always loved Doyle and Quicksilver. My husband and I followed them for 30 yrs. But, I was disappointed at his guys in Hominy Valley. They don’t seem to know how to act at a gospel singing. Hopefully they will be better next time. Still a big fan! Sincerely, Joan Gosnell
Joan, I have racked my brain trying to remember something that was inappropriate from me or any of the fellows in my group. Try as I may , I don’t recall anything. This comes as a bit of a surprise because we were there July 3rd and you’re just now letting me know about your feelings. I try and do as many songs during a performance as possible. I feel like that’s what folks want to hear. my faith is very real and important to me as well as the guys who work for me. Maybe I don’t give a testimony every time I sing but I do when I feel spiritually led to do so. God knows what is in our hearts all of the time and when it’s all said and done, I will answer only to Him. Thank you for writing because I like to hear from folks who have a concern. Blessings
Doyle
This really isn’t any business of mine but I’ve got to say something. I’ve been a fan of this man my entire life and my grandparents were fans of Doyle when he first started out with with the Country Gentlemen. According to my math that’s a lot longer than 30 years and Doyle Lawson was (and still is) a class act. He demands the same stage presence from his band as he always has. If you’ve been a fan for so long, surely you have to know that this is fact and no reminders would be necessary. You said “They don’t seem to know how to act at a gospel singing.” What exactly does that mean? That’s a pretty vague statement without backing up your post. Sorry Mr.Lawson if I’ve stepped over the line.
Sincerely, Matt
Hi Miss Joan. I first wanted to say thank you for coming out to our Hominy Valley show and how much we enjoyed playing there. I would also like to apologize for anything that may have offended you during that show. If there is anything we can do to improve, please let us know. It’s comments from the fans that help us out and keep us going. Again, thank you for being a fan and we hope you’ll come back out to a DLQ show soon!
You guys are awesome!!!!! Don’t mean to sound like an obessed fan lol you guys are in my dad’s mp3 player, and he listens to it once in a while. I finally heard you guys sing, and it’s just soo.. cool haha. Just.. keep having that faith in you and God bless.
i know yall have just recently released a new album, but i am curious when the next release will be and if it will be gospel to? i sure hope it is gospel because i really enjoy yalls bluegrass gospel.
Probably early next spring…
will it be gospel?
hey Doyle,
Didn’t know if you knew this or not but at your denton festival they can save seats even if they are not they’re for the show and leave the towels tied down for 3 days.
We got cussed out for sitting in somebody’s seat and they were not even there for 3 hours for the shows and then showed up and made us move.We talk to the people that run the festival and they said that they could not do anything about it so we were hoping that you could. We have come to your festival for 3 years and its the same situation every year. Wanted to make you aware of what is going on. its not fair that we pay the same price but have to sit inthe back and we there for every group and the seats up front are empty for most of the shows. Observe this on your next festival.
A very loyal fan for your group. this will not change us coming but wanted you to know.
thanks Becky
We are aware that this goes on, but short of taking up everyone’s stuff (blankets and things) there really doesn’t seem to be a solution. When I want to watch a specific band, I just go sit in whatever seats are empty that suit me. I don’t feel like just because someone tapes a blanket to a seat that “it’s theirs”. A time or two the people who were trying to save the seats have showed up…I sometimes move and sometimes I don’t.
I attended your show @ Wingate College (Wingate, NC) back in December. Man, what a show and we had a large time. I was lucky enough to get front row seats!!
Doyle, you probably don’t remember this, but I was the one who yelled out for you to show us your boots!!! I see that you have lots of dates set up and was wondering if you will ever consider coming back to Wingate. Your band is a true blessing to me. Thanks for all of the great music and the entertaining show that you put on!!!! May God bless you!
Doyle and the guys would love to come back to Wingate. If you want them back, you should urge the promoter to have them again!
I would like to know if you can tell me where i can get a copy of your song. ( Help is on thr way ) Thank You Charles Fleming
